A Michelada is a spicey Mexican Beer and Tomato/Clamato juice cocktail. Enjoy Mexico's own piquant famous cocktail!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Clamato Juice
  • a few dashes of Tabasco (Hot Sauce)
  • 2 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 bottle Mexican beer of choice (Modelo, Corona, Sol, Tecate, or Victoria are all great beers)
  • 3 to 4 ice cubes
  • lime wedge and a few jalapeno slices for garnish

Instructions

  • 1. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a tall cup, then dip it into a small plate with sea salt or tajin.
    2. In the glass pour the clamato juice, a few dashes of tabasco hot sauce, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Stir the ingredients.
    3. Add 1 bottle of beer of choice. Make sure it's nice and cold. Pop in a few ice cubes and jalapeno slices if you like. Garnish with a lime wedge. Enjoy!
