Blueberry cherry crumble with toasted pecans, a hint of lemon and orange, topped with a a dollop of vanilla iccream. Enjoy hot or cold at any time of the day.
finely grated peel of lemon & orange(just a little bit, so it doesn't overpower the rest)
1teaspoonground cinnamon
⅛teaspoonpinch of salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 °F1. Mix the berries with the sugar, lemon juice, and flour. Pour into a baking dish.2. In a small bowl, add butter (at room temperature), but cold butter works too. Add brown sugar, flour, oats, nuts, cinnamon, a pinch of salt, and a little bit of finely grated lemon & orange peel. Knead the mixture until crumbles form. Then sprinkle generously over the berries.3. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes.Serve with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, or by itself, hot or cold!
