A moist and fragrant cake that is incredible delicious. The chocolate will melt in your mouth and fits perfectly together with the light and fluffy almond flavor cake! You won't be just eating one slice ;)
Preheat oven to 350 °F1. In a kitchen mashine or mixer, add butter and sugar. Mix, then slowly add eggs one by one. Mix, scrape down sides, then add almond and rum extract.2, Add flour, baking powder and almond meal. Mix until all combined.3. Line a baking form with parment paper. Pour cake batter into pan. Bake for ca. 50 minutes, or until when a toothpic inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool.4. In a small saucepan pour about 2 inches high water, and bring to a simmer. Place a heat proof melting pot on top of saucepan. Pour chocolate pieces into pan, and stirr until chocolate is completely melted. Make sure that no water comes in contact with the chocolate. Pour melted chocolate over the cooled cake. Spread evenly. Let cake cool until chocolate has hardened. Enjoy!
