Waldorf Salad is one of Germany's most popular salads and almost always on the menus of Restaurants. I make my Waldorf salad with butter lettuce, sliced celery, tart apples, grapes, and a little bit of cheese all tossed in a delicious dressing. Sometimes I'll add chicken, but this salad is just as delicious without. I also top it with walnuts. A perfect fall salad!
DRESSING:
This fresh vegetables salad with lots of crunchy fruit and nuts is tossed in a creamy dressing made with mayonnaise, lemon juice, a little bit of apple cider vinegar to balance it all out, and lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. If you like you can drizzle a little sugar into the dressing. This is optional.
This simple dressing pairs well with all the textures in this salad!
Enjoy!
