HEALTH BENEFITS
Making your own salad dressing is not only quick and easy, but most importantly it has none of the processed ingredients that are found in store bought salad dressings.
Raw apple cider vinegar is the most popular type of vinegar in the natural health community. It is claimed to have many health benefits that are supported by scientific research. This includes weight loss, as it promotes digestion and ph balance, reduces cholesterol, and lower blood sugar levels. Moreover, it is a natural probiotic, and supplies enzymes and potassium.
BEST APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
When shopping for apple cider vinegar, make sure you select a variety that is labeled "with the Mother"). My personal favorite is "Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar". It is a unfiltered, unpasteurized vinegar, and it contains "the mother," strands of proteins, natural enzymes and friendly bacteria that gives the product a slight murky appearance. This vinegar is naturally gluten-free which is a wholesome way to add delicious flavor to any salads, and veggies.
DIRECTIONS
This apple cider vinaigrette takes just a minute to whisk together. Just combine all of the ingredients in a glass mason jar, seal and shake until all ingredients are well combined.
Leftovers store well for up to 1 week in the refrigerator. Shake before serving. Enjoy!
